Simple survival tips for creating blogs in a safe environment
Get a domain name
Buy a domain name and don't plan anything, especially long-term goals. (Totally joking, you don't need a domain name). Your domain name is the address where your website lives, the domain could be considered the postal address.
Build a new website
You'll need a website with a blogging function - more than a few have them!

Create the blog posts
Blog Posts and Web Pages are usually permanent until 404. Then, it's a 'was there, but now it's not.' Blog Posts are considered temporary but are typically permanent until they're not. (It's the internet, where everyone speaks in tongues.)
Design a category page
Design a straightforward WEB PAGE that presents your visitors with a selection of BLOG POSTS, enabling the discerning reader to choose which articles they wish to explore. For instance, the breadcrumb trail might look like this:
